Professional Series: Motorcycles

Bike Labs is a course for professional EMS personnel who already have medical training or work alongside EMTs and Paramedics in close proximity. This 2-4 hour course will help professionals familiarize themselves with motorcycles and other related two wheel vehicles. Motorcycles and their counterparts are vastly different than the typical vehicle and present unique issues when a patient is involved.

EMS personnel will learn basic parts of a motorcycle, how to do proper lifts without tools, gauge how different motorcycles handle and weight differences between them. This includes unique identifiers on how it relates to a patient and proper helmet removal.
